THE UNIVERSAL KEYHOLE® is a combination of our original KEYHOLE® Hands-Free Camera Harness with a UNIVERSAL CONNECTOR. The original KEYHOLE® used by itself, must be attached to shoulder straps equipped with 1" webbing running down the front. However, the new UNIVERSAL CONNECTOR provides a method for the KEYHOLE® to be used with most any type of backpack shoulder strap. Its simple design secures the KEYHOLE® to your backpack straps without the need for any special webbing or hardware.
The KEYHOLE® Hands-Free Camera Harness is a hands-free restraining and protection device for neck strap-suspended camera equipment used in the field, by securing the camera to your body by means of a harness and pointing the lens down rather than outward.
The UNIVERSAL CONNECTOR (attached to the KEYHOLE) has vertical straps that lay against your backpack shoulder straps. Horizontal webbing wraps around each shoulder strap in two places. A hook on the top of each vertical strap attaches to the carry handle on your backpack and a locking clip attaches to the bottom of your shoulder straps. The UNIVERSAL CONNECTOR is fully adjustable for all body types and sizes.

- UNIVERSAL CONNECTOR - attaches KEYHOLE® to your backpack straps
- Standard Knob - threaded to your camera tripod mount hole and is used to secure the camera to the harness
- Two Velcro Squares - attached to your camera lens caps which attaches to a tether on the harness. This eliminates creep from the camera lens and can also be used to hold your lens cap when not secured to camera.
